Pedophiles are rampant. All over the globe,in every nook and corner of the smallest of hamlet,village ,kasba and the poshest of residential blocks the world over.
It is such a grotesque sin,which provokes such sharp reactions,when truth unfolds.
Sadly,...mostly,it is someone close to the family of the victimized child,who does so...and almost all the times,gets away with it.
It sinful abhorring act has various degrees and thus,kids fail to register it immediately ... they do get psychologically and emotionally traumatized and do try and convey it to the elders in the family,at times. but sadly,they are either not believed and dismissed,or are asked to hush it all up for the fear of defamation.
The repercussions are severe,serious and grave....but people don't realize it,that is precisely why,this crime is on the rise and nothing much can be done to either trace it,curb it or nab the tormentor,cause he is trusted,loved and welcomed in the households.
There should be stringent laws...the offence is punishable and worse than any other.
The culprits should be traced,nabbed and brought to books...even if time has lapsed...so as to make sure justice is done...hope is retained and protected.
Parents need to be more aware,vigilant,and trusting of their own off springs.
They should promote the spirit of justice and facing things as they are,instead of shoving the realities under the carpet...this would help kids regain confidence and maybe the lost faith in humanity too. ...
