The Mevlevi Order has been a great source of inspiration for me...for as long as I can remember,right from the beginning of my years of sensible understandings.
Several references in the poetic piece I wrote on it,are reflective of the beliefs of the semazens of the WHIRLING DERVISHES.
Like the SIKKE or the CAPS they wear,made of camel skin,which are symbolic as the TOMBSTONES OF EGO or the NAFS!
And several other.
The Sema Ceremony,where the DHIKR(dance) is performed in a whirling motion,represents a mystical journey of man's spiritual ascent through mind and love to the "Perfect". Turning towards the truth, the follower grows through love, deserts his ego, finds the truth, and arrives at the "Perfect". 

Such a beautiful and soulful concept...intriguing and mystifying...♥
